You may not know that I live in Idaho-- it's pretty dang cold here. We've had worse winters, but for me they are always long. For a lot of reasons, I really love where I live, but COLD and WINTER are not among them. So every year at this time, I itch for warm weather, look forward to summer and planting and wish away the days.
I'm committed this year to NOT wishing away the unpredictable days of Spring. Spring in Idaho does not mean warm and alive-- it generally means muddy and indecisive. We may have snow through most of the spring. OR we may get burst of warm weather and thaw. No matter what, the warm eventually wins out and we enjoy some of the most beautiful summers in the country. So this spring, I am going to enjoy the sunshine when it comes and cuddle up inside when it doesn't. I am going to plan for enjoying moments instead of dreading weather I can't control. I am going to make the most of every day and live with purpose.
Pocket Innerwear and PumpPockets does not have a season-- we work all year long, day and day out to be the best brand in the diabetes industry. And it looks like this spring and summer, all of our hard work will start to pay off in BIG ways. PumpPockets are making their way across the globe and will soon be in the Canadian and Australian markets. We are working on listings on several diabetes supply sites. We are ever-increasing our online sales and most importantly, we are connecting with you on a level that is so rewarding. Our customers with Type 1 Diabetes have become the lifeblood of our business. We wake up everyday and come up with new ways to serve you. To connect with you. To learn from you. You inspire our best work and push us to be the best we can be.
So, no matter the weather. No matter the day. No matter the conditions or the predictions or the bumps along the way, I'm going to keep killing it. Pocket Innerwear has become an extension of who I am and what I live for. I live for progress and chasing potential. I live to make change and create happiness. And looking at Spring 2016 sends chills down my spine because I know I'm living my dream.
